  1. Go to Thunderbird's file menu

    • Go to Thunderbird's file menu

    • Click 'Add-ons'

    Edit

  2. Find Lighting Add-on Lightning may be on the front page-click on it

    • Find Lighting Add-on

    • Lightning may be on the front page-click on it

    • Or search for 'Lightning' at the top right

    • Click 'Add to Thunderbird' or 'Install' depending on the screen you receive.

  3. Restart Thunderbird

    • Restart Thunderbird

    • Click 'Restart now' to finish installing Lightning

  4. Open calendar tab When you restart Thunderbird the calender tab is not open.

    • Open calendar tab

    • When you restart Thunderbird the calender tab is not open.

    • Click the tiny icon with the '7' on it. It is located above your events pane on the right.

    • This should open your calendar tab.
